You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Platform. Users under 18 may participate only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Yampl connects students seeking to learn languages with independent tutors who provide lessons through online video sessions. We are a marketplace platform only. Tutors are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Yampl.
To access certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Students pay for lessons via third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Google Pay). Tutors receive payouts subject to service fees and applicable taxes. Yampl may also charge monthly SaaS subscription fees to tutors, students, or other users, payable via any payment method available through our platform or partners. These fees are billed on a recurring basis until canceled. Yampl reserves the right to adjust pricing and service fees at any time, with notice provided in advance.
You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes; (b) harass, abuse, or exploit other users; (c) circumvent payments or conduct lessons outside the Platform.
All content on the Platform (excluding user content) is owned by Yampl. Users retain ownership of content they create but grant Yampl a license to use, display, and promote such content on the Platform.
Yampl may suspend or terminate accounts at its sole discretion for violation of these Terms.
The Platform is provided 'AS IS.' We make no guarantees about tutor quality, availability, or outcomes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yampl is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform indicates acceptance.
